A native of Manchester NH, Aaron Tolson has been tapping for 21 years. He recently finished a six year run with Riverdance the show where he was a featured soloist. The show featured him on broadway and Radio City. Aaron started dancing at the age of ten in Lawrence Massachusettes. Four years into his dance career he was performing in the Great Tap Reunion at the Apollo Theater, ironically with Derick Grant. This was the beginning of the life long bond the two have formed. Soon Aaron found Julia Boynton in Boston and she guided him in the direction of tap as a life style. he went to St. John's University getting his degree in Communications all the while honing his tap technique in Manhattan. Soon he became a company member of Manhattan Tap and worked with the show Tap Dogs briefly. Jumping feet first into choreography, he landed a job with Absolut with a tour called Absolut Tap! He choreographed a piece for their second tour and dance captained all of the teams for 2 years. Aaron started doing competition pieces in NH and all over the US. He has had students end up in the Miss America pageant as well as numerous dance competitions.
